Strutters, (originally known as Strutter's Styles) opened its doors for business in 1995. Back then Strutters was a little different. It was more exciting than a common consignment store; instead of buying clothing exclusively from locals, we decided to comb the closets of fashionistas in Vancouver. We brought eclectic and on-trend styles back to our cozy, little, citified, mountain town. Like our community, Strutters has evolved over time.

In 2016, long time employee Dawn Somers bought the business. Strutters moved into its current home on Ward Street in the heart of downtown Nelson. We continue to travel to Vancouver and search the city to find those treasures you've come to know us for.

Although many things have changed over the years our commitment to customer service will always remain the same. We welcome and value all who walk through our door.
